myct-entrance-pic ‘Merseyside Youth Challenge Trust’ established in 1985 is an urban-based Outdoor Pursuits Education Centre (Charitable Trust) in South Liverpool. The City Council provides premises for the Centre together with 35 acres of public parkland. We are situated in the beautiful surroundings of Allerton Tower Park, only five miles from Liverpool City Centre, easily accessible to schools and groups throughout Merseyside.
MYCT also offers an in-house training scheme for volunteers who are looking for employment within the Outdoor Industry. MYCT relies heavily on the goodwill and support shown from volunteers and past/present trainee Instructors in keeping the Centre fully operational. We believe that there is a real need for what we do giving children and adults the opportunity to experience these activities in their own backyard. It is important that MYCT continues to develop and continues to offer outdoor adventure to its users who attend mostly from the local community to give them an opportunity to achieve these individual and team goals.
