New look to store room

The store room is having a makeover.  Below are the pictures of the before and after.  What a difference the volunteers have made to this once unused room.  They have nearly finished it and we will soon be able to use it as a training room.  Well done to everyone who has helped and also to Roger who spurred us all on.  A big thank you to you all.

THANK YOU

This is the first time this particular school have been to the Centre.  We received some funding from Liverpool 1 for this group to come here for a full days program.  We are setting up six fun and challenging activities.  The staff and volunteers are really looking forward to working with this group.  40 young people aged 10 and 11 this should be a great day.

This is another of MYCT’s local schools who are coming this afternoon and have asked for four exciting activities for them to do.  I am sure we can manage that along with a few surprises!!!!

Another busy end to the week.  Carlton House have been here on a number of occasions.  This time they are bringing a new group with them of 20 eleven year olds.  They have also requested a BBQ to finish the day off with.  Well done to all the volunteers and staff this has been a very busy time for them.  Enjoy the weekend off .

Another big group in today of 44 young people.  We will be splitting them up into 4 groups of 11 and rotating them around the activities.  This will be a big day for many of the volunteers, some of them will be running an activity for the first time.   They have had lots of training so all should go well.
