Adrenaline junkies attempted to jump into the Guinness Book of Records to raise money for Merseyside Youth Challenge Trust.

Between Aerial Extreme and MYCT volunteers and staff we managed to raise £217.00 so a big thank you to you all and well done for setting a New Guinness World Record.

I was surprised to see Bill have a go!! so I felt I had no choice but to have a go myself, once I overcame my fear it was a pleasure and I ended up doing ten jumps. cheers Bill

MYCT: a young team of outdoor instructors joined forces with Aerial Extreme to gain a Guinness Book of Records world record for power fan jumping at Knowsley Safari Park. In all, 349 jumps were made over the eight hour day from a high tower, ‘safety’ braking being provided only by a small fan which whizzed around, powered by a rope attached to the jumper’s harness. Height of the jump was 14 metres (42ft.) which was exciting if not daunting!

Why couldn’t we have had a few lions prowling below to really spice things up?
