Seven members of our staff have just returned from a two-day staff camp in the Lake District. The staff were able to work on skills such as map reading, use of a compass etc. As well as this all of the staff enjoyed the hike up Scafell pike (the highest mountain in England!) 07.08.10 This will be a great day with lots of action and nail biting activities. All the boys (soon to become men) have asked for the most difficult and challenging activities. One of these is the tall tree abseil, we only set this up a couple of times a year as it is very daunting. [...] 13.03.10What a great day this turned out to be, over 150 people turned up and enjoyed the eight activities. A big thank you to Tony, Dave and Gregg for the BBQ and also to Steve for the photographs. And the biggest thank you goes to all the volunteers who gave up their time to come [...] We are now back in the swing of things after the unexpected longer break after the Christmas holidays. The Centre is now fully open and is gearing up for another busy year. First group of the New Year will be Booker Avenue.
